Three of the vendors were the rudest people I have ever met. Noone at this market sold chemical-free produce, and there were no organic or all-natural vendors. When I inquired if the produce the three rude vendors was selling was GMO, they got very upset and one told me that there is nothing wrong with GMO. I was told by another vendor that I should leave and go to Tallahassee or Seaside. I have lived in Marianna 15 years and I want local chemical-free, non GMO produce. I guess I'll have to grow it myself or drive 1 1/2 hours to get it. I always thought that Farmers markets were outlets for small and local farmers to sell their produce. I have since then found two local farmers that sell chemical-free non-GMO produce and I would rather give them my money and support Jackson Counties TRUE Farmers Market( Farm Gate Sales). -- Terry Wise |
