I was visiting my Mom in Valdosta, Georgia, and a relative told me drop by for watermelons on my way back to Atlanta. I can truly say this was well worth my visit. I purchased 6 watermelons, and they were the best and sweetest melons. The guys there selling the melons were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I could not beat the price. I wish I would have driven my husband's truck, becuase I would purchsed several melons for my in-laws in Athens, other relatives, co-workers, and friends. I will be buying my melons from here,if I have to drive from Cordele to Atlanta. I can see Cordele is the watermelon capital of the world.
