Join Us on Saturday Morning Mathews Farmers Market Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. April 6th through October 26th (except September 7th, during Mathews Market Days) The Mathews Farmers Market is located on the historic courthouse green in Mathews County, Virginia. Stroll among the historic village buildings as you shop from local vendors who specialize in fresh organic produce. Each month your senses will come alive from the seasonal array of wholesome fruits and vegetables, native plants, baked goods and handcrafted gifts presented at the Farmer's Market. Be sure to check the calendar for Special Events and Gardening Demonstrations offered on any given Saturday. It is what brings Saturday to life in Mathews! On Holiday Saturdays you will find entertainment and music. It's all part of the regular fare at the market. Be sure to stop by the Community Tent for refreshments and fellowship provided by a local not-for-profit organization, where you are sure to meet someone you know.

I have shopped at the Mathews Farmers Market and I would recommend anyone who has not visited this market, to do so. Everyone is soo pleasant and the items being offered are varied. I have bought veggies, plants, jewelry and HOT sauce. Also find the honey man..........Linda
