The Capitol Market IS NOT a Farmer's Market. During the season most outdoor vendors are third parties that truck in produce. Some produce is from out of state. Inside the Capitol Market there is an abundance of produce -- IMPORTED and also from CALIFORNIA. The Capitol Market doesn't even sell copies of the Farmer's Almanac. It's a fun spot in downtown Charleston, but the Capitol Market has not earned the right to be called a Farmer's Market.
